British Dressage provides options for many young riders from chronilogical age of six to 25. mostly, British Dressage provides structured training opportunities in areas taken by suitably competent and approved teachers. It is not required at the outset in order to become an associate of Brit Dressage; there are certain possibilities to participate in order to get a taste for the sport.

Riders who would like to take part in Regional services on a regular basis need certainly to join British Dressage as a non competing user. If you wish to be a part of Regional Training and compete in associated dressage competitions or are chosen to compete for your area in competitions as part of a group, you will have to be a full person in British Dressage and register your pony/horse. Membership and Horse Registration with British Dressage is rolling – therefore will run for 12 months from the day of joining. Riders who are full members of Uk Dressage will likely not want to pay extra to take part in BYRDS local Training.
